For complex treatments, the fees can vary depending on the complexity of the case and the materials used to produce the desired aesthetic result. For this reason, certain complex treatments are list as “From” to provide a guide for the price.

Please note that all prices are from the listed amounts and the clinician will discuss your specific treatment requirements and the costs with you during your consultation.

​ All private treatments are subject to a minimum 50% deposit upon booking and any missed appointments without at least 24 hours notice are chargeable at a rate of £1 per minute.

Band 1 Course of treatment: This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant. If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.

Band 2 Course of treatment: This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3 Course of treatment: This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

The charge you pay depends on the treatment you need to keep your mouth, gums and teeth healthy. You will only ever be asked to pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it – either Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3.

Having a Denplan both convienent and cost effective. You have regular access to dental appointments which allow the dentist to closley monitor all aspects of your dental health. Many costly treatment can be avoided by focusing on dental prevention. This also allows the dentist to detect and solve any dental problems at an early stage

 

Having a Denplan will have no effect on your access to NHS dentistry.
Denplan is aimed at maintaining your oral health. For this reason we would advise for all treatment to be completed before signing up for a Denplan.
No. Denplan is a contract between you and your dentist that allows you access to ongoing prevantive dental care. However, Denplan can arrange on your behalf, supplementary insurance which provides cover towards the cost of treatment required if you suffer a dental injury or dental emergency.
